Chinese Feudalism
The Chinese civilization spent most of their time in a feudal state, where many wars, peasant uprisings, and progress has occurred. The country was rather successful during its feudal state, as it managed to develop itself rather well, until the Opium war. The country stayed unified most of the time, and it managed to be a self-sustaining country. The center of the country was Confucianism, an ethical and a philosophical system; Confucianism believed in humanism, so the outcomes on the feudal system were primarily positive. China also housed believes of Taoism and Buddhism, both of which believed in peace and serenity. The resulting consequences ended up in a decreased amount of violence. One of the main disadvantages the Chinese had faced was isolation. Chine; being surround by a desert to the north, mountains to the west, and ocean to the east, China was not an easy place to travel to, which ultimately resulted in them becoming a highly isolated country with very little trade. But ultimately, China still managed to survive and progress through the ages, as well as become one of the strongest countries in the world.
